Although this isn’t really a bad thing, if you’ll think about it, you’re not getting much nutrition from it either. In fact, there’s very little nutrition found in potatoes, and it’s largely made up of water.

8. Broccoli
Every kid despises this, but parents believe it’s one of the healthiest vegetables. The truth is, similar to Brussels sprouts, those who are planning to detox after a holiday feast should not consider eating this. Broccoli can cause excessive bloating and gas– this would definitely make you feel too lazy to go to the gym.

Although it does contain a good amount of fiber, anti-oxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties, it doesn’t mean that’s it’s 100% good for you. According to USDA, the celery commonly found in the supermarket is often packed with pesticide residues, and most of which are classified as hormone disruptors. The good news is, it doesn’t mean that you should completely avoid celery, but it would be better if you’ll opt for the organic ones instead.

No one would claim that you should stop eating these fruits and vegetables. However, you should also be aware of what they contain, and if you think it’s bad for you, try to minimize your intake and be cautious of where you are getting them. Best of all, keep in mind that too much of anything can be bad; so consume all fruits and vegetables in reasonable moderation.
